The Story

Two brothers.
One shop. A big idea.

We're Dan and Kevin, brothers from Cincinnati who've been living and breathing sports cards our whole lives. We own Shoeless Joe's — a licensed Fanatics and Panini card shop — and operate a network of vending machines, including reverse vending machines where collectors can sell cards directly back into the market.

Cards aren't just a business for us. They're in our blood. One of us was an early employee at BitGo (NYSE: BTGO), spending over five years in the world of crypto security, digital wallets, and asset custody. When the on-chain collectibles space started heating up, we looked at what existed and saw something nobody had built yet.

So we built it.

The Problem

Repacks got something right —
and something wrong.

We love what's happening in the on-chain collectibles space. Repacks introduced the thrill of the unknown to a whole new generation of collectors. But there's a fundamental flaw: you never actually know what you're playing for. You're trusting a checklist. You're guessing at fair market value. You can't target the specific card you actually want in your collection.

On top of that, the expected value question is murky at best. You pay your entry, you pull a slot machine lever, and you take the promoter's word that the card inside was worth what they said it was.

"We wanted to build a game where every player only engages for the card they specifically want — and where fair market value is self-enforcing, not self-reported."

That meant flipping the model entirely. On Paxxel, the card is always known upfront. Every game, every token, every burn — completely transparent and verifiable on-chain.

How It Works

64 tokens. Six rounds. One winner.

Every card on Paxxel is divided into exactly 64 digital packs. The card is fully revealed before a single pack goes on sale. You choose which drops to enter — and you only play for cards you actually want.

01

Choose your card

Browse live drops. Every card is PSA-graded, insured, and vaulted. You see exactly what's at stake before spending a cent.

02

Buy a pack

Entry starts from $0.23. Each pack includes a collectible NFT + a game token for that specific card.

03

The game begins

Once all 64 packs sell, Chainlink VRF burns 50% of tokens on-chain — provably fair, publicly verifiable on every round.

04

Trade between burns

After each burn, a trading window opens. Buy more tokens to increase your odds, sell out to cash in, or hold.

05

Last token wins

64 → 32 → 16 → 8 → 4 → 2 → 1. The final token holder wins the entire PSA-graded card.

06

Three win paths

Physical delivery to your door · 90% instant USDC buyback · or list on our secondary marketplace.

No purchase necessary — free mail-in entries (AMOE) available for every drop with equal odds. Maximum 16 entries per person.

Inside Every Pack

Your pack contains two assets.

Every digital pack you buy comes with two things:

1. A collectible NFT — proof of purchase for the series (e.g. "Series 2018"). This NFT is yours to keep, trade, or burn. If you burn it, we ship you a physical card from that series right out of our Cincinnati vault. The NFT itself has collector value.

2. A game token — your entry into the elimination game for the specific PSA card in that drop. This token is tradeable during burn windows, so the market decides its value in real time.

If the expected value of a pack doesn't reflect true fair market value, packs simply won't sell. Transparency creates accountability — automatically.

Why is Paxxel EV lower than PSA and Card Ladder?
We price aggressively at or below fair market value. If pack EV doesn't justify the entry price, collectors won't buy. Our model is self-regulating — the market enforces honest pricing every single drop.

Licensed DealersDeeridge Cards LLC is licensed by Fanatics and Panini. We're plugged into the physical market.

You don't need to be a crypto expert to play. We built the experience so any collector can jump in. But if you want to verify every result on-chain, you can — every single time.

What's Coming

We're just getting started.

We're rolling out new physical vending machines purpose-built to acquire PSA slabs directly from the public. Every slab that comes in feeds the Paxxel pipeline — a constant, market-driven stream of graded inventory flowing into weekly drops.

Beyond single-card drops, we're building a full secondary marketplace where game tokens trade in real time, where collectors can buy, sell, and speculate on cards they didn't originally enter for. Think live expected-value trading on every card in play.

We're also watching the broader on-chain collectibles space closely — what Grails is doing with fractional card ownership, what Courtyard is doing with custody, what the gotcha model brings to gamification. We built Paxxel to be something distinct: high risk, high reward, total transparency, and always — always — the card revealed first.
